Ramgarh, April 14: West Bokaro Division of Tata Steel commenced the National Fire Service Week from the General Manager’s Office Complex. Anurag Dixit, GM, West Bokaro Division, Tata Steel graced the occasion as the chief guest in the presence of Mahesh Prasad, President, RCMS, West Bokaro, PK Singh, Secretary, RCMS, West Bokaro. The theme of this year’s National Fire Service Week 2023 is “Awareness in Fire Safety for Development of National Infrastructure”. National Fire Service Week will be observed from April 14-20, 2023.
Speaking on the occasion, Anurag Dixit said, “The National Fire Service Week being organized by the Safety and Fire Services team aims to sensitize not only its employees, contract workers but also the community at large. Tata Steel West Bokaro Division has always been at the forefront of tackling all types of fires in the surrounding areas and we will continue to serve the community”.
The programme was started this morning by unfurling the National Fire Service Week flag followed by the flagging off of a fire tender cum awareness vehicle.
During the fire service week, mock drills and fire safety training programs will be organized in various schools of the division, various departments and training centres including TSF.
