NCPCR chairman to visit Jharkhand on Feb 20 to probe Rupesh murder case

Ranchi, Feb.16: Chairman of National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) Priyank Kanoongo to reach Jharkhand on February 20 to probe into the incident of death of minor boy, Rupesh Pandey, who was beaten to death by some anti-social elements during Mata Saraswati procession at Barhi in Hazaribagh.

 

During his Jharkhand visit Kanoongo will talk to Superintendent of police of Hazaribagh, Manoj Ratan Chothe, investigating officer of the case, DCPO, CWC and the doctor who treated the minor boy and the doctor who undertook autopsy of the deceased.

 

Principal private secretary to chairperson, Dharmendra Bhandari, informed about the programme asked authorities to ensure the presence of the above-mentioned persons for inquiry.

 

Chairman Kanoongo will land at Birsa Munda Airport at 9.55am and take off for Delhi on the same day at 8.15pm after inquiry.
