“XLRI, as an institution, has always taken special care to maintain diversity in the classroom by selecting a very diversified group of students in terms of gender, educational background, economic background, professional background, and region. We have always stressed upon the gender ratio. Some of the first women to study management in India are from XLRI. XLRI, being a Jesuit institution with strong values, not only pays great respect to women but also makes them feel secure & empowered,” said an XLRI official.
The academic inaugural event was then followed by an ice-breaking event where all students participated and several games were conducted.
The two-hour event was a complete refreshment and made all the students interact comfortably with each other.
