Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra to visit Ranchi in July 2023

Ranchi, Dec 2: Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra will be visiting Ranchi in July 2023 as the state capital will be hosting the 62nd National Inter State Senior Athletics Championship from July 26 to 30.

This will be a qualifying event for the Asian Athletics Championships. Jharkhand Athletics Association officials said that this event will be the biggest athletics event in Jharkhand where more than 1200 athletes from all over the country will try their best to qualify for Asian Athletics. 

The Association is preparing for two major athletics events in 2023 in Ranchi. The first event will be held in February, while the second will be held in July. The International Race Walk Championship will be held at Moharabadi in February and the 62nd National Inter State Senior Athletics Championship in July 2023.
