Online help platform, Danpatra, needs volunteers

Ranchi, Feb.18: ‘Danpatra’, a free online platform which collects old unused items from people and gives it to the needy, has given a call to people across the country to get associated with it as volunteers.

 

For this, the voluntary organisation has circulated two telephone numbers 6263362660 and 7828383066.

 

The organisation, which came into existence on March 10, 2018 and so far helped more than 12.5 lakh needy, counts all those as volunteers who can donate old unused items, who can distribute old items to the needy, and those who can coordinate between donors and receivers.

 

The organisation collects clothes, toys, books, shoes, utensils, electronic items and furniture besides others.
