Ranchi: Fresh controversy has erupted in Jharkhand over alleged irregularities in the Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET). Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi has attacked the state government and demanded strict action over lapses in the examination process.

Question Papers Failed to Reach Centres
Marandi said the credibility of competitive exams in the state is continuously declining. He claimed that at one examination centre each in Bokaro and Ranchi, question papers did not arrive on time, forcing cancellation of the exam there.

Errors Found in Question Paper
He also pointed to serious mistakes in the English paper, including the same question being repeated twice from one passage and another question having missing answer options.

Demand for Accountability
According to Marandi, repeated mistakes in every examination show that the process is not being handled seriously. He urged the Chief Minister to identify those responsible and take strict disciplinary action against them.

Call to Remove JPSC Chairman
Marandi further demanded the removal of the JPSC chairman, alleging that incompetent leadership is damaging the reputation of the commission. He said the future of candidates should not be jeopardised due to administrative failures.
