New Delhi, August 6: After the Rawalpindi-bound Hazara Express derailed, 10 of its bogies turned over, resulting in at least 15 fatalities and 50 injuries. The incident occurred on Sunday close to the Sahara Railway Station, which is situated between Shahzadpur and Nawabshah.
When the disaster occurred, the train was travelling from Karachi to Punjab in Pakistan.
The affected patients were moved to the People’s Medical Hospital in Nawabshah. The precise cause of the derailment is still unknown, according to the officials.
In response to the accident, surrounding hospitals have implemented an Emergency protocol.
