Daltonganj, Feb 3: Palamu DC Anjaneyulu Dodde removed Anganwadi Sevika from her job following complaints about her being erratic and irregular in the running of the Anganwadi Kendra.
Notably, Palamu DC right there in the outreach ordered her removal and directed the social welfare officials to have a replacement for her with all due process.
Moreover, the residents of Kundilpur have two major demands – a road and the availability of drinking water.
Sources said as the land which is trodden by the locals is mostly forest land and thus a road here is too difficult to come up all for the reasons of clearance from the forest.
As for the drinking water, the locals wanted deep boring there but because of the undulated and rocky terrain, the heavy rig machine known as deep boring machine truck can’t reach out there admitted the locals.
The locals have also demanded water harvesting structures as Kundilpur has enough potential for soil conservation schemes.
Moreover, students of the government-upgraded middle school Kundilpur had a surprise when they got a carrom board, racquet, bat and ball to play with during the outreach of the Palamu DC, SP Chandan Kumar Sinha and DDC Ravi Anand.
