Daltonganj, April 25: The number of total Covid positive cases reached 11 in Palamu.
According to district epidemiologist Dr Anup Kr Singh, out of the total 11 positive cases, the number of active positive cases is eight as three of the 11 have made a fast recovery testing negative for Covid and are freed from home isolation.
Two people were found Covid positive again in the Panki block on Monday taking the local total here to three which is a component of the major total of 11 in the Palamu district.
He said we have advised the three negatives to get themselves tested again for Covid after a gap of seven to ten days.
The nodal officer of district health care management Ravi Anand, who is DDC, has directed the Civil Surgeon Palamu Ashok Kumar to further speed up the testing for Covid in Daltonganj and in the whole of the district Palamu.

Anand said that the Civil Surgeon has been asked to ensure that medicines which are useful for Covid control are available at the hospital and community health centres and that people having this problem with Covid do not face any inconvenience.
Civil surgeon Ashok Kumar said he has activated the peripheral health system asking the medical officers in charge of the respective community health centre to be extremely vigilant about this Covid.
The DDC said we have decided to push in a fleet of the ANMs in 35 wards to this Medinirai municipal corporation here to find out in how many households are cases of cold, cough, fever, loss of taste of food etc and on being found out measures will be taken up by the doctors here.
The Civil surgeon admitted he has no clue as to when this district will get doses of the vaccine as there is no vaccine of any type like Covishield, Covaxin, CorbeVax etc.
