Palamu: Robbers loot cash from Bandhan Bank’s collection centre

Daltonganj, Dec 30: Four robbers looted cash worth Rs 48,000 from the cash collection centre of Bandhan bank at Bishrampur on Friday. Confirming this, the SDPO Surjit Kumar said, “It is wrong to say that loot has occurred in the Bandhan bank. Bandhan bank is located in Daltonganj. The loot of 48,000 rupees is from the collection centre of the Bandhan bank.”

Notably, four youths disguised as loan aspirants entered the collection centre today and one of them pulled out a pistol and grabbed the cash worth Rs 48,000 kept on the counter and decamped on two bikes. 

The robbers with cash are said to have retreated towards Garhwa town. Police have sounded alert in the nearby police stations.
