Parliament’s special session from 18 to 22 Sep

New Delhi, Aug 31: A special session of the Parliament has been scheduled between September 18 and September 22 during the Amrit Kal. The information was conveyed by the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Pralhad Joshi, today. The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs posted on his social media account, stating that a special session of Parliament (the 13th session of the 17th Lok Sabha and the 261st session of the Rajya Sabha) has been called from September 18 to September 22.

“Special Session of Parliament (13th Session of 17th Lok Sabha and 261st Session of Rajya Sabha) is being called from 18th to 22nd September having 5 sittings. Amid Amrit Kaal looking forward to having fruitful discussions and debate in Parliament,” Joshi said on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter).

Officially, there hasn’t been any information provided regarding the agenda of this special session of Parliament. This session is scheduled to take place a few days after the G20 Summit in Delhi on September 9 and 10. Joshi mentioned that there will be five meetings during this special session of Parliament. The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs expressed hope that meaningful discussions will take place in Parliament during this special session held amidst the Amrit Kal.
