Khunti, May 2: A senior police official reported that a Naxalite commander from the People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI), a banned organisation, was captured in Jharkhand’s Khunti who was carrying a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh.
From the arrested Naxal’s possession, the police seized an AK-47 rifle, bullets, and other objectionable items.
According to Aman Kumar, SP of Khunti, Jharkhand, the Naxal was Sukhram Gudiya alias Rode, the zonal commander of the PLFI.
“Sukhram was carrying a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh,” the SP said.
