PM Modi said Congress leader and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi used the president’s rule 50 times to topple the state government.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is replying to the Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address in the Rajya Sabha today.

“We identified 110 aspiration districts in the country. Education, infra, and health have improved in these districts due to continued focus and performance review. This has benefitted more than 3 crore tribals,” he added.

The ongoing budget session has witnessed Opposition parties coming down heavily on the central government over the Adani issue. The Opposition has been demanding an inquiry into the allegations levelled by the Hindenburg firm on Adani group. On Wednesday, members of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Left parties and some members of the Congress walked out of Lok Sabha raising slogans, as PM Modi was speaking.
