Lohardaga, March 29: During an operation against the Naxalites, the police recovered a huge amount of explosives from Lohardaga on Tuesday.

This explosive was kept hidden by the CPI-Maoist organization. It is suspected that the explosives were kept hidden in the forested-hill area with the intention of harming security forces.

SP Priyanka Meena had received a tip-off that the Naxalites had hidden explosives in the remote Judni forest. After which the personnel of District Police Force, BDDS, CRPF 158 Battalion and SAT under the leadership of ASP Operation Deepak Kumar Pandey started the search operation as part of the anti-Naxal operation.

During the expedition, four bundles of codex wire kept hidden under the ground in the remote Judni forest were recovered.
