Ranchi, Jan.22: Due to low visibility, flight services remained affected till 11am in Jharkhand’s capital.
Birsa Munda Airport director Vinod Kumar informed this saying one Indigo flight from Kolkata and another Go Airways flight landed late from their scheduled time.
“Visibility was 700 m only. When I sent a signal at 11a.m., the morning flights from Delhi and Kolkata started their service for Ranchi,” director Kumar said.
Kumar said the things remained good that fuel did not go waste despite poor visibility.
“Many times flights are diverted due to visibility problems but today the flight took off from Kolkata and New Delhi only when I gave a signal and thus helped the flight service provider save fuel,” Kumar said.
