Ranchi: The Education Department has taken a strict stance against private schools that have yet to complete admissions for 25% of seats reserved under the Right to Education (RTE) Act. A list of 207 such schools has been released, including prominent names like Delhi Public School, Guru Nanak School, and DAV Gandhinagar.

Principals Called for Clarification on July 15

All principals of these schools have been summoned to a meeting scheduled for July 15, 2025, at 3 PM in Block A of the District Collectorate. During the meeting, schools must explain why they have failed to conduct admissions under the RTE quota and detail the steps they plan to take next.

Action Likely Against Non-Compliant Schools

The schools had been instructed to complete the admission process by July 7, but many did not comply, prompting serious concern from the District Education Superintendent. Schools have been directed to attend the meeting in person, along with representatives and all relevant documents. Officials have warned that failure to comply could result in further action.
