Mumbai, Aug 31: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has once again cornered the central government regarding the Adani issue. During a press conference in Mumbai, he raised concerns about the investment of industrialist Gautam Adani and hit out at the central government.
During this, Rahul referred to reports published in foreign newspapers and demanded a response from the central government. He stated that such reports in two international newspapers are damaging India’s image. He demanded the central government to conduct a transparent investigation into this matter. He called on the central government to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the entire issue through a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC).
Rahul Gandhi said why is PM Modi silent on this matter? G20 leaders are coming who will ask the question why is one company special? It would be better if the central government answered these questions before their arrival. There should be a JPC inquiry into the matter.
