The much-awaited trailer of South superstar Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi has been released, offering fans a glimpse of high-voltage action, emotional depth, and a powerful rural setting. The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on June 4.

Trailer Sets a Gripping Tone

The trailer opens with a train crossing a signal, quickly moving into scenes depicting the oppression of village labourers, establishing the film’s serious tone. Ram Charan’s character Peddi is introduced through a memorable line by Boman Irani, who says the favourite player in the village has always been just one — Peddi. The trailer then showcases Ram Charan excelling in cricket, wrestling, and running, with his rugged look already drawing strong reactions from fans.

Janhvi Kapoor and Divyendu Sharma in Key Roles

Janhvi Kapoor appears in a stylish yet grounded avatar, with her character combining cool attitude and emotional depth. Divyendu Sharma plays the antagonist, with his powerful entry setting up a compelling clash with Ram Charan’s character.

Story Rooted in 1980s Andhra Pradesh

Peddi is a Telugu sports action drama set in a village in 1980s Andhra Pradesh. Ram Charan plays a wrestler who unites his village through strength and leadership, fighting to protect its dignity. The trailer also features glimpses of national-level wrestling and running competitions, blending high-octane action with emotional storytelling.

Stellar Cast and Music by AR Rahman

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film features Ram Charan alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Boman Irani. The music has been composed by AR Rahman.
