Ramgarh advocates protest court fee hike, submit memo to DC and District Judge

Ramgarh, July 25: On the call of the Jharkhand State Bar Council Ranchi, the advocates of the District Advocate Association, Ramgarh kept themselves away from judicial work and all other types of work on Monday.

The advocates went on a pen-down strike against the unexpected increase in court fees by the state government.

In this sequence, they also submitted a memorandum to the Ramgarh Deputy Commissioner Madhvi Mishra. Afterwards, they went to the office of Principal District and Sessions Judge Brijesh Mishra and submitted a memorandum to him.

 

 

The advocates requested the district judge to send their protest to the registrar of the Jharkhand High Court. The DC was also requested to withdraw the Court Fee Amendment Act by sending a memorandum to the State Government and the Governor.

Association President Anand Agarwal, Vice President Jhalak Dev Mahto, General Secretary Sitaram, Dwarka Mahato Subodh Pandey and other advocates were present during the procession.
