Ramgarh, Feb 12: BJP state president cum Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash on Sunday commented that CM Hemant Soren had promised to provide jobs to five lakh people and unemployment allowance; however, he is yet to do it.
MP Prakash said this while addressing a meeting of the NDA constituents regarding the by-election. The meeting was held in the BJP district office under the chairmanship of BJP District President Praveen Mehta.
Prakash further said that the CM had also promised to resign if he did not fulfil his promises, but he has not done that as well. “They bluffed to power but neither gave jobs nor allowance,” he added.
Addressing hundreds of workers, Deepak Prakash said, “We have an alliance with the AJSU since before the formation of Jharkhand.”
He further said that the government’s hatred for Santhali and tribals in the country was seen when the NDA alliance made a tribal woman their presidential candidate, and then the Congress MLAs here did not vote for the tribal woman to protest against the BJP.
Addressing the workers present in the programme Hazaribagh Lok Sabha MP Jayant Sinha said that Hemant Soren government not only cheated the people of Jharkhand but also made fun of poverty in the name of issuing petrol vouchers continuously. “That’s why it is necessary to remove Hemant, the father of this loot, lie and corruption,” he added.
He further added, “It is not a by-election, it is a religious war, to win it, it is necessary for AJSU and BJP to have coordination at the booth level, to pay attention to some things. At the same time, this by-election is like a war between the NDA and the Grand Alliance, in which we will have to go door-to-door to motivate our voters to cast their votes.”
Rajya Sabha MP cum election in-charge Aditya Sahu, Giridih MP Chandraprakash Chaudhary, Ramgarh Assembly in-charge Shashibhushan Bhagat, Devsharan Bhagat of AJSU among others were present on the occasion.
