Ramgarh bypolls: DC directs to ensure availability of basic facilities at polling booths

Ramgarh, Feb 18: District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Ramgarh Madhavi Mishra on Saturday instructed officials to ensure the availability of essential facilities for the Ramgarh by-elections.

During the meeting in the Collectorate Hall, Ramgarh DC also instructed officials to inspect clusters and polling centres regularly and closely monitor all activity. She further directed the Ramgarh City Manager and City Council to coordinate with the Block Development Officer to ensure the availability of basic facilities under the Assured Minimum Facility at the polling stations located in the City Council areas.

Meanwhile, she reviewed the work being done by the Flying Squad team to conduct elections in a free and fair manner. She instructed them to take immediate action if they receive any information or cases related to violations of the model code of conduct.

Apart from this, she gave necessary instructions for the successful conduct of the election after receiving information from the senior officials regarding the work being done by the manager of the Ramgarh by-elections.

Moreover, senior officials, Personnel Cell cum Deputy Development Commissioner, senior office bearers along with others attended the meeting.
