Ranchi, Feb 3: Sunita Choudhary, who is the wife of AJSU’s parliamentarian Chandra Prakash Choudhary, will be the NDA candidate in the Ramgarh bypolls.

Notably, Sunita was also AJSU’s candidate in the 2019 assembly election but she lost the election to congress candidate Mamta Devi. AJSU has nominated her again.

AJSU party spokesperson Devsharan Bhagat and parliamentary board member Doman Singh Munda announced this in a press conference held at the party office in Harmu.

It is expected that she will file her nomination tomorrow. BJP leaders will remain present during her nomination.

Bhagat said that the election will be the semi-final before the final election. He said in the election people will seek a reply from the Hemant-led government for its failure in fulfilling its promises of giving five lakh jobs, unemployment allowances to the unemployed and formulating a recruitment policy.
