Ramgarh bypolls: UPA candidate Bajrang Mahto files nomination

Ramgarh, Feb 7: UPA candidate Bajrang Mahto filed his nomination papers on February 7 for Ramgarh bypolls, the last day of the nomination process.

The in-charge of Jharkhand Congress Avinash Pandey, State President Rajesh Thakur, State Ministers Alamgir Alam, Badal Patralekh, Banna Gupta, Satyanand Bhokta, Joba Manjhi, Yogendra Mahato, Fagu Besra were present during this period.

The UPA candidate Bajrang Mahto went to file nomination with five others at 12:30. VIPs coming from Ranchi stayed at Hotel Saini located at Patel Chowk.  

After this, they directly reached the subdivision office. On the other hand, JMM and Congress supporters from the district office of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) took out a procession along with Minister Joba Manjhi and MLA Savita Mahto and reached the subdivision office.

In the nomination of UPA candidate Bajrang Mahto, Congress working state president Bandhu Tirkey, Jaleshwar Mahto, Shehzada Anwar, senior Congress leader MLA Deepika Singh Pandey, former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahay and others were present.
