Ramgarh, July 23: A delegation of Ramgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries headed by Chamber President Vinay Kumar Agarwal met MP Jayant Sinha at Demotand and welcomed him by presenting bouquets and symbols on behalf of the Chamber.
They demanded that efforts should be made to meet the Railway Minister, as well as the changes made in the timing of the Shaktipunj Express, which is causing problems to the local people as well as the common people around should be changed. Apart from this, a demand was made to increase the passenger shed of the Ranchi Road and to increase the railway facilities in Bhurkunda.
Further, for the Jharkhand Electricity Distribution Department, there was a demand to make a sub-station in Kankebar by earmarking a place in the capital. They said that very soon the Intercity Express will run from Giridih to Ranchi via Barkakana. MP Sinha assured the chamber that the Jharkhand Electricity Distribution Department sub-station would be set up by earmarking the sub-station.
