Ramgarh College organises workshop on drone technology

Ramgarh, Jan 31: A workshop on Drone Technology was organised at Ramgarh College today under the aegis of IQAC in collaboration with BIT Mesra Polytechnic University.  

Notably, as resource persons of the workshop, Abhay Kumar and Abhinav Kumar gave important information regarding drone technology.

Abhay Kumar said that drone technology can be used to inspect soil, agriculture and the mining sectors.  He told that nowadays apart from this, it is also being used for town planning and in the field of security monitoring by the police.  

Similarly, Abhinav Kumar gave some information about the huge possibilities of the employment sector while telling about the increasing demand for drone pilots in mineral resource-rich Jharkhand. 

Regarding the one-month course related to drone technology in Mesra, it was told that by doing that course employment opportunities can be provided.  

The workshop was presided over by Professor in charge, Dr Rekha Prasad and coordinated by Prof. Rose Oraon while the vote of thanks was done by Dr Bakshi Omprakash.
