Ramgarh, Sept 29: A Ramgarh magistrate court on Wednesday ordered Ramgarh SDPO Kishore Kumar Rajak to pay his wife Varsha Srivastava Rs 10,000 monthly as expenses.

According to the interim order issued by the court, the report of the Protection Officer revealed that the SDPO was involved in domestic abuse against his wife. According to the bank statement provided, the SDPO does not even provide his wife money each month for expenses, which makes it difficult for her to cover monthly bills.

According to the order, the SDPO was directed to give his wife Rs 10,000 per month, which included Rs 7,000 for her and Rs 3,000 for his son’s clothing and prescriptions. The court also said that since the SDPO and his wife live together, she should not be evicted from the government-provided house nor there should be any violence used against her.

Following the court’s directive, SDPO Kishore Kumar Rajak stated that the protection officer whose investigation report was presented in court had never met him or his family. “How did he prepare a report based on one-sided allegations? He broke the laws and procedures to produce this biased report,” he alleged. The SDPO further said that he will file a written complaint against the Protection Officer.
