Ramgarh, Sept 7: The Annual Festival ‘Hausala’ was celebrated with great glamour and grandeur in DAV Barkakana. The chief guest on the occasion was PM Prasad, CCL CMD Ranchi, the distinguished guest was Vimala Prasad and the Guest of Honour was AK Singh.
The theme of the function mainly dealt with nature and saving the earth. All the dance performances were inter-woven in such a manner that it seemed that it is describing the story of earth since its creation to the present day. All the performances kept the audience glued to their seats for two and a half hour.
Prasad in his blessings praised the efforts of the Principal of the school Dr Urmila Singh and said that in her leadership the school has got completely transformed not only in the infrastructure which is the best but also in providing education as a great number of ex-students have become Civil Servants, doctors, engineers, Chartered Accountants , Bank Officers etc.
Furthermore, he announced to provide all sorts of help to the school and promised to make an auditorium. The students who have topped the CBSE Examination, the students who have qualified in JPSC and have achieved success in other competitive examinations along with those teachers in whose subjects children who have scored a hundred out of hundred as well as those teachers who have rendered 25 years of dedicated service to DAV Barkakana were felicitated.
Dr Urmila Singh praised the children, the teachers and all the staff members for their hard work in making the function a great success and organising ‘Hausala’ after the pandemic.
