Ramgarh DC holds meeting to bar criminals from using vacant quarters

Ramgarh: Ramgarh DC Chandan Kumar along with Superintendent of Police Piyush Pandey held a meeting with General Managers/Representatives of agencies, including CCL, PVUNL on Monday in view of law and order in the district.

The DC along with the SP reviewed the current status of quarters for the residence of officers and personnel of CCL, PVUNL, Tata and other projects being run in different blocks of the district, agency-wise.

On the spot, the DC directed all the General Managers and representatives to ensure that the long-vacant quarters under their project should not be used for any kind of criminal activity under any circumstances.  For this, he gave necessary instructions to all concerned general managers and representatives regarding marking the old quarters in a planned manner and ensuring police verification of the people living in the quarters and other actions.

During the meeting, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Patratu, Executive Magistrate cum Incharge Law Branch, District Public Relations Officer and others were present.
