Ramgarh DC holds meeting with GMs of various projects over Panchayat election preparation

Ramgarh, May 5: The District Election Officer (Panchayat) cum Deputy Commissioner Madhavi Mishra on Thursday held a meeting with the general managers/representatives of various projects under Ramgarh district, regarding the successful conduct of the three-tier Panchayat (general) Election 2022.

Deputy Commissioner told all the General Managers that vehicles have been demanded from various projects under the district for successful completion of the elections. “All of you should ensure that the prescribed number of vehicles are made available to the vehicle cell constituted at the district level in time, after which they can be used in the election work in a planned manner,” she said.

To discuss the basic facilities, DC Mishra asked all the General Managers and representatives to make available water tankers in their project in the polling stations and clusters located in the respective areas in coordination with the Block Development Officers and Circle Officers as per the requirement of the district administration.

The DC appealed to the General Managers and representatives to cooperate with the district administration in the dispatch centre set up given the three-tier Panchayat (general) election, while she asked all the General Managers/representatives to identify some polling stations in their areas.  After discussing and developing them as model polling stations, and making special arrangements for voters and differently-abled voters, necessary instructions were given.

Senior Officer Vehicle Cell cum District Transport Officer Saurav Prasad gave important information to all the General Managers and representatives regarding providing vehicles to the Vehicle Cell in a planned manner.

General Manager of CCL Rajrappa Project, CCL Argadda, CCL Barka Sayal, CCL Kuju, CCL Charhi, CCL Kotere Basantpur, TISCO West Bokaro Division Ghatotand, PVUNL/NTPC Patratu, Jindal Steel Power Plant Balkudara Patratu, Inland Power Limited Gola and Representatives were present.
