Ramgarh DDC meets with District Ganga Committee

Ramgarh, Dec 9: A meeting of the District Ganga Committee was organised under the chairmanship of Deputy Development Commissioner Nagendra Kumar Sinha on Friday.

During the meeting, the Deputy Development Commissioner inquired in detail about the works done in the light of the instructions given in the previous meeting of the District Ganga Committee.

He then held discussions with in-charge Officer Development Branch, District Planning Officer  Sameer Kullu and other officials, principals of colleges, representatives of various agencies including CCL, and Tata, regarding the organisation of various programmes under the Namami Gange scheme in the month of December.

Necessary instructions were given while the Deputy Development Commissioner discussed public awareness, action plan, tree plantation activities, natural farming and the works to be done to keep the water sources in Ramgarh district clean under the Namami Gange scheme.

During the meeting Forest Divisional Officer Ramgarh, Executive Engineer Drinking Water and Sanitation Division Ramgarh District Tuberculosis Officer Ramgarh along with others were present.
