Ramgarh, June 11: The meeting of the Ramgarh District Badminton Association was held on Saturday late evening at Kendriya Karmshala Guest House, Naya Nagar, Barkakana. In the meeting, it was decided to organize a two-day district badminton championship under the aegis of the Jharkhand Badminton Association.
Association’s District Deputy Secretary and Co-National Referee Alok Singh said that the District Badminton Championship tournament will be organized on June 17 and 18 at the Community Hall, Naya Nagar Barkakana. Junior boys and girls are divided into three categories, Under-15, Under-17, Under-19. In the senior category, competition will be organized for male and female players in the age group of 19 to 35 years. Along with this, a competition will also be organized for Veteran 35 to 45 and above 45 players. The tournament will be played in singles and doubles.
