Ramgarh, Jan 30: Police on Monday recovered the body of a boy from a well in Gola. The boy has been identified as Priyanshu Kumar.

Notably, the boy was missing and an FIR was registered on January 27 for kidnapping in the Gola police station area.

The SDPO of Ramgarh also reached the Gola police station. Eyewitnesses said that Priyanshu had a deep wound on his head. They believe that he was murdered and thrown into the well.

The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for postmortem.

On January 27, Manoj Kumar, a resident of Dabhatu, lodged an FIR at Gola police station and expressed suspicion of the kidnapping of his 18-year-old son Priyanshu Kumar.

He mentioned in his FIR that Priyanshu had left for his DVC Chowk shop at around 7:30 pm on January 26.  After some time his mobile was switched off.

“I saw in the CCTV camera at one place that he was talking on the mobile.  But he was not seen returning in the CCTV camera.  Due to this, I suspect that my son has been kidnapped,” he said.
