Ramgarh: SAIL Refractory Unit sets record in production

Ramgarh, April 2: SAIL Refractory Unit (SRU), Ranchi Road, a Ramgarh-based unit of Steel Authority of India Limited, a Government of India establishment, has performed exceptionally well in the financial year 2021-22.

 

The unit has recorded the highest ever single-day production of 57.4 tonnes of MCB on March 26. Apart from this, the highest ever dispatch of 11,321.33 tonnes has been registered in the same financial year, which is the highest ever dispatch in the history of the establishment.

 

There is an atmosphere of joy among the officers/employees and contract workers of SRU, Ranchi Road on this special achievement. On this occasion, the management distributed sweets among the employees to celebrate the achievement.

 

SRU IFFCO and Ranchi Road unit chief Sushant Sarkar and Anuvind Mohanty addressed the workers. Many officers, contractors and union leaders as well as employees and contract workers were present on the occasion.

 

While addressing the workers, both the unit heads congratulated all of them and gave a message to carry out similar demonstrations in future also.

 

Deputy General Manager Plant GR Burman, Deputy General Manager Maintenance PK Gupta, Deputy General Manager Production Kesari Nandan, contractor and panchayat head Shankar Mishra, labour leader cum Panchayat head husband Naresh Prasad Sahu and others were present on the occasion.
