Ramgarh: Zarina Khatoon Museum Chitarpur organises quiz competition

Ramgarh, Nov 6: Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage Sub Chapter in Ramgarh and Zarina Khatoon Museum-cum-Research Center jointly organised a District Level Heritage Quiz Competition under the banner of Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The Zarina Khatoon Museum Chitarpur held the competition among students of classes VII – X from the DAV Public School NTS Barkakana, Apex Public School, Marang Mircha, Upgraded High School Banda Gola, LT Memorial Public School, Gandhi Zameen Macos Public School Chitarpur, Girls Urdu High School Chitarpur and Dargah Islamic School Chitarpur.

The competition was held in 2 phases wherein the first phase which included a written examination started at 10:00 am. Here 6 groups were selected for the second phase which had an oral examination. The selected teams were asked questions in six rounds, including an audiovisual round.

Kashyap Rahat and Aditi Shree of DAV Barkakana bagged the first position, Anish Kumar and Ashwani Kumar got the second position, and Rahnuma Parveen and Tanjila Haider from Girls Urdu High School scored third.

These three groups were selected for the state-level competition. All the children were given participation certificates and the winners were given prizes and certificates.

Fayaz Ahmed said that INTECH wants to bring awareness about its heritage among children which is why INTECH organises such programmes all over India. We have included national, state and regional tangible and intangible heritage in the question paper through this quiz.  Tauqir Hasan Khan, Imtiaz Ahmed, Veena Singh,  Mohibullah, Abhishek Kumar, Isaac Ahmed, and Vivek Agarwal among others were present in the programme.
