Ranchi, May 20: the CBI court in Jharkhand capital accepted former union railway minister Lalu Prasad’s plea to release his passport.
Order came after the court heard the matter. His advocate Anant Kumar Vij argued on Prasad’s behalf explaining the requirement of passport.
Prasad has been convicted in different cases of fodder scam, which took place when he was Bihar chief minister. Presently he is out on bail. According to the condition of bail, his passport has to be deposited in the court. But he can take and use his passport only with the permission of the court.
