Ranchi, Aug 14: In the light of the decision taken by the All India Congress Committee, the Gaurav Yatra, which ran from August 9 to 14, came to an end today with pomp and gaiety.
In this six-day Gaurav Yatra, party’s state in-charge Avinash Pandey participated in the program organized in ten districts including Deoghar, Godda, Dhanbad, Hazaribagh, Chatra, Latehar, Ranchi, Khunti, West Singhbhum, Seraikela Kharsawan and participated in the padyatra by party workers.
Alok Kumar Dubey, convener of the State Congress Organization empowerment campaign, said that after the conclusion of the six-day Gaurav Yatra, a grand program is being organized in the capital Ranchi on Independence Day tomorrow, August 15, in which all the party MLAs including party in-charge Avinash Pandey. MPs and state officials will participate and celebrate Jashne Azadi with great pomp.
Alok Kumar Dubey said that under the leadership of Congress in-charge Avinash Pandey, the party workers remembered the struggle of martyrs and other freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle by marching for more than two thousand eight hundred km in different districts across the state. . He said that the freedom fighters gave their blood for the glory of the tricolor, but today it is a matter of great sadness that this tricolor is being sold in the BJP office. Making Tricolor a business and trying to make profit from it is an insult to the great freedom fighters and lakhs of martyrs. The people of the country will never forgive these BJP workers.
