Ranchi police take out flag march to ensure peace during Ram Navami

Ranchi, April 8: Police in Jharkhand capital took out a flag march on Friday to ensure cooperation from people in maintenance of law and order in the city during Ram Navmi.

 

More than 200 police vehicles were part of the flag march which started from Morhabadi Maidan and reached to Sujata Chowk via Bariatu Road, Ratu Road Chowk, Argora, Birsa Chowk, Dhurva, Ring Road, Tilta Chowk, Piska More, Kanke Road, Chandni Chowk, Hotlips Chowk, Badgai, Booty Mod, Main Road ended near Sujata Chowk.

 

Those sitting on the police vehicles included officials of Tiger Mobile, PCR, in-charge of all police stations, and DSPs are included. Common people in different parts of the capital responded positively to the flag march.

 

The march was organized on the instruction of senior superintendent of police Surendra Kumar Jha. During the show, people were asked to maintain peace and celebrate the festival in an atmosphere of mutual harmony. People were asked not to give heed to any kind of rumours.
