Ranchiites safe in underground parking in Ukraine amid Russian attack

Ranchi, Feb.24: Ranchiites staying in Ukraine are safe.

Ajay Kumar, a resident of Harmu Housing Colony staying there for more than 20 yrs and running his business, informed this to Lagatar24.com sending a WhatsApp message saying he was in underground parking with his family and safe.

He said so far the Russian army has targeted airports and army bases. He said that none of the public places are targets so far.

Kumar, an alumnus of St Louis School, said the internet is not working properly.

Asked whether he is in a position to return to India amid war, he said “No cannot come” adding that ‘all airports are closed’ and all flights are cancelled.

Sources said over 20,000 students from India are staying in Ukraine. Among 20000, there are many from Jharkhand.
