Mumbai, April 10: During his team’s match against the Mumbai Indians on Saturday, former RCB captain Virat Kohli was given a dubious LBW verdict (April 9). Royal Challengers Bangalore slammed the umpire and his decision after Kohli was dismissed.

Kohli immediately reviewed the decision after being called out by the on-field umpire. The third umpire, on the other hand, believed the ball struck both the bat and the pad at the same time, and there was insufficient evidence to overrule the on-field umpire’s ruling.

Virat Kohli was enraged after being dismissed for 48 against MI on his opening ball of the Indian Premier League by Dewald Brevis. Kohli was enraged even as he was walking out the door, slamming his bat on the ground.

“We were just reading through the MCC Laws of Cricket for LBW decisions, and here’s what we found. Unfortunate hat Virat Kohli had to walk back disappointed after a brilliant knock,” reacting to the incident RCB twitted.

Notably, inspiring knocks from Anuj Rawat and Virat Kohli helped Royal Challengers Bangalore defeat Mumbai Indians by seven wickets at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on Saturday.
