Rotary family organises Tiranga Yatra in Ramgarh

Ramgarh, Aug 14: On the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav to mark the 75th anniversary of Independence, The Tiranga Yatra was organised on 14th August at 9:30 am from the Rotary hall Thana chowk. All the clubs in Zone 15 jointly organized this Yatra.

Tiranga yatra was taken out under the leadership of Assistant District Magistrate Arvind Goyal, which first came out of the Rotary Hall and garlanded the statue of Gandhiji in Gandhi Chowk and ended by garlanding Subhash ji at Subhash Chowk via Chatti Bazar to Lohar Tola. A total of 130 members were present in the Yatra.

Before starting the Yatra, it was duly inaugurated by lighting the lamp at Rotary Hall Thana Chowk, the stage was conducted by dist additional secretary Arun Roy, welcome address was given by Subodh Pandey and vote of thanks was given by Rahul Jain.

Vivek Agarwal, Harish Chaudhary, Anil Garg, expressed their views. In his address, Assistant District Magistrate Arvind Goyal, while saluting the martyars said that our breath is indebted to them, due to their sacrifice, we are all able to breathe in independent India today.

Rotary Central, Rotary Ramgarh, Rotary City, Rotary Bhurkunda, Rotary Hazaribagh, Rotary valley, inner wheel club members contributed in making the program a success.

Women actively participated in the yatra including Vinita Agarwal, Manisha Goyal, Sumira Berlia, Poonam Jalan, Sangeeta Jain, Sangeeta Agarwal, Bobby Goyal, Megha Bagadia, Shweta Sinha, Monika Basudev, Sarita Jain, Mamta Mewar, Roji Tiwari, Sahil etc.
