RSS Condemns Ram Temple Donation Theft, Warns of Anti-National Forces Trying to Malign Hinduism

New Delhi: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has expressed deep dismay over the alleged theft of donations at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, with General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale saying the incident has deeply pained the sentiments and faith of the entire Hindu society and millions of Lord Ram’s devotees.

RSS Demands Strictest Punishment

In a statement issued on Friday, Hosabale called for ensuring that anyone found guilty after the SIT investigation faces the strictest punishment in accordance with the law. He welcomed the Uttar Pradesh government’s decision to constitute an SIT at the request of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and said legal proceedings initiated on the basis of the SIT’s recommendations must run their full course.

Anti-National Forces Exploiting the Incident

Hosabale alleged that anti-Hindu and anti-national forces are attempting to exploit this unfortunate incident to malign Hindu dharma, and appealed to the entire Hindu society to display patience and restraint to thwart such conspiracies.

Expectations From the Trust

The RSS said it expects the Trust to treat this highly condemnable incident as exceptional and take effective steps to address all shortcomings in temple administration and management, so that the faith of millions of devotees remains unbroken. Hosabale said the current state of confusion and uncertainty must end, and expressed confidence that through transparent financial management and proper operational systems, the Trust will continue to strengthen the faith of Hindu society.
