Jamshedpur, June 8: A 28-year-old youth, Mohan Gaddi, who was a resident of the Jugsalai locality of the city was found murdered in a bush at Turi village under the Potka thana area near Jamshedpur.
The murder victim was a scrape iron dealer and had come out of his house at Gwala Bustee in Jugsalai on Tuesday afternoon.
Though there was no mark of injury on the body, the victim’s legs and hands were tied with ropes, suggesting that he was strangulated to death.
Significantly, besides the body, a saree, blouse and Inner-wears of a woman were found.
Potka thana OC, Binod Tuddu said they suspect the murder might have been committed due to illicit relations with a woman.
“Though the circumstantial evidence suggests the murder to have been committed due to illicit relation, we are yet to find out either any assailant or any such woman who might be involved in the mysterious murder, ” said Todd while talking to lagatar24.com.
The OC said they are interrogating several suspects so as to get a lead in the sensational murder case.
The victim’s brother Bablu Gaddi is learned to have given the name of a Bagbera-based youth who was seen with the murder victim Mohan Gaddi near Tatanagar railway station for the last time.
