Jamshedpur, Jan 4: The Tatanagar station on Tuesday morning experienced a Corona blast when for the first time, seven Covid positive passengers were found at the station within an hour. Due to this, there is a stir among the health workers, teachers and security personnel. The first five Covid positive passengers disembarked from Mumbai -Howrah Gitanjali Express. Of these, three are men and two are women.
Three residents of Rourkela had come to Tatanagar by Gitanjali Express to go to Asansol. The report of all three came positive during the investigation. The reports of one passenger each from Karandih and Sidgora areas in Jamshedpur have come positive, who had boarded the train from Mumbai to Tatanagar. After this, two positive passengers from Ahmedabad Howrah Express had reached the station. The positive passengers were admitted to the isolation ward of MGM Hospital for treatment from the station. At the same time, the District Surveillance Team and the Chief Medical Superintendent of Chakradharpur Divisional Headquarters have been apprised of seven patients being found at Tatanagar station in the morning.
