Dhanbad Feb 2: Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital (SNMMCH), Dhanabad has set up two committees for the admission of new batch of MBBS 2020-23 sessions scheduled from February 4 to 7.
SNMMCH Principal Dr Jyotiranjan Prasad said the first committee under admission in-charge Dr Ganesh Kumar has been set up for certificate verification of the students before admission.
Anatomy Head of Department Dr Makradhwaj Prasad, Physiology Head of Department Dr Krishna Kumari, biochemistry department head Dr Sunil Verma and FMT head Dr Dutta Shri Niwas Rao are other members of the committee.
Besides the certificate verification committee, a three member medical test committee has also been constituted for the facilities of students. One each doctor from the medicine, eye and ENT departments would be members of the medical test committee.
Two-day holidays in the college (Saraswati Puja on February 5 and Sunday on February 6) between February 4 to 7 scheduled for admission dates have created new problems for the members of the admission committee.
A member of the certificate verification committee said that of course the problem has appeared as the institution would be closed on February 5 and February 6 but we (members of committee) have decided to come to the office so that students do not suffer.
The college management has also released the list of documents the students would have to submit at the time of admission.
As per list, the students have to bring NEET UG 2021 admit card, NEET UG 2021 result, NEET provisional allotment letter, Xth admit card, Xth mark sheet, Xth pass certificate, XIIth admit card, XIIth pass admit card, XIIth mark sheet, residential certificate issued by deputy commissioner / SDM, caste certificate issued by DC/SDM, character certificate of previous institution/school, 10 copies of photograph.
The Admission committee member said before the admission process, all eligible candidates would have to go through Covid test.
