During campaigning, CM Yogi allegedly referred to the party as “goons,” “ruffians,” and “mafia,” and his language did not fall into the category of moderate, dignified, and courteous speech, according to SP.
On 1 February in Meerut, CM Adityanath likened SP’s electoral emblem, the “red cap,” to that worn by rioters and history-sheeters, according to the letter.
In Kairana and Muzaffarnagar, the party accused the CM of using unparliamentary language when he declared, “I know how to handle the Opposition’s heat.”
Notably, from the 10th of February to the 7th of March, elections will be held in 403 Assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, a politically crucial state. On the 10th of March, the votes will be counted.
