The SpiceJet representative reported that all of the passengers had safely exited.
The crew observed smoke in the cabin when they passed 5000 feet, and the bathroom smoke alarm sounded. The cockpit crew was alerted right away by the cabin crew. A visual inspection, nevertheless, revealed no evidence of smoke or damage.
The smoke in the cabin grew as the ship climbed higher, so a return was started. At the Delhi airport, the plane made a successful landing.
