Indore, Dec 15: Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Pathaan’ has landed in trouble over its recently released song ‘Besharam rang’.
The activists of an outfit staged a protest against the upcoming Bollywood film Pathaan and its song Besharam Rang in Indore on Wednesday.
The activists of ‘Veer Shivaji Group’ took to the streets to protest against the film and burnt the effigy of lead actor Shah Rukh Khan. They demanded to ban the film, set to hit the screens in January next year, the protesters alleged that the sentiments of the Hindu community is offended by the content of the ‘Besharam Rang’ song.
Earlier, MP minister Narottam Mishra objected to Padukone’s costume in the song of “Pathaan”. He warned that if the objectionable scenes were not deleted then a ban on the film would be worth considering.
The film ‘Pathaan’, an action thriller, which is scheduled for release on January 25. Pathaan’s first song, Besharam Rang, had generated much hype even before its release. Be it Deepika Padukone’s uber-glamorous pictures in swimsuits, and SRK donning the man bun and flaunting a chiselled physique, fans loved it all. The song was released on December 12.
