The cause of concern in the whole country is the rise in Covid cases. Despite vaccination, the number of cases is rising significantly especially in Kerala. Rahul Gandhi has held the government responsible for the surge in Covid cases.

Gandhi on Thursday raised concerns about the surging COVID-19 cases in the country and termed it ‘worrying’.

“Rising  Covid numbers are worrying. Vaccination must pick up pace to avoid serious outcomes in the next wave,” he said in a tweet.

According to the government data, India added 46,164 new coronavirus cases over the last 24 hours , a 22 percent jump, while  deaths from the virus rose to 607.

The country’s overall caseload now stands at 3.25 crore, while total fatalities are at 4.36 lakhs, according to the government.

Meanwhile, taking a dig at the asset monetization scheme of the government, the former congress president said, “Please take care of yourself because GOI is busy with sales.”
