Tata Steel gifts Jamshedpur with upgraded Badminton Training Centre

Jamshedpur, April 1: Promoting Sports as a way of life, Tata Steel gifted Jamshedpur with an upgraded state-of-the-art Tata Steel Badminton Training Centre at JRD Tata Sports Complex.

T V Narendran, CEO and Managing Director, Tata Steel last evening inaugurated the new facility in presence of Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President Corporate Services, Tata Steel and Rituraj Sinha, Managing Director, Tata Steel Utilities Infrastructure Services Limited (TSUISL).

The upgraded badminton training centre is equipped with five synthetic surface courts with international standard lighting.

The facility also includes two air-conditioned courts as well. It has separate changing rooms for men and women, ensuring the best possible experience for all players. The newly built facility will now pave way for the hosting of national-level tournaments in the city.

Tata Steel Badminton Training Centre is all set to provide a best-in-class playing environment for all sporting enthusiasts. Currently, a total of 491 players are registered at the Tata Steel Badminton Training Centre.
