Tata Steel West Bokaro felicitates winners of Inter-Divisional Table Tennis Championship

Ramgarh, July 18: The Sports Department of Tata Steel organized Inter-Divisional Table Tennis Championship from July 12-14 at JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur.  115 players from 16 divisions of Tata Steel participated in this competition.  In this competition, the ‘A’ team of the West Bokaro Division won the runner-up title and the ‘B’ team of the Division secured the fourth position.  The ‘A’ team consisted of Kanishka Dutta, Ramanuj Singh, Rajeev Ranjan Singh and Ajit Kumar and the ‘B’ team consisted of Mohan Sinha, Lalit Kumar, Sanjay Singh and Subodh Kumar Mishra.

Keshari Kumar, Chief, Integrated Planning & Services, Tata Steel, Jamshedpur and Mukul Vinayak Choudhary, Chief, Sports Excellence, Tata Steel, Jamshedpur were the chief guests of the function and awarded trophies and prizes to the winner and runner-up teams on Tuesday.

In the Inter-Divisional Carrom Championship, which was also organized at Jamshedpur, the team of Mohan Kumar and Imtiaz Khan of West Bokaro Division secured the third position.

On this success of the sports department, Anurag Dixit, General Manager, West Bokaro Division congratulated all the winning players and encouraged them to perform better in future in a function organized in the General Manager’s office.
